Why the name “Khaya” and why the”家”in our logo?
A Zulu word meaning “home”, Khaya’s roots lie in the rolling hills of the Zulu Kingdom in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal South Africa. It is picturesque, and deeply rich in both culture and history. The Chinese character”家”on our logo that forms the K in Khaya, was chosen as,”家 means“home”
So why “home”, you ask? Home conjures up images of love and warmth, elements that we strongly link to our brand and business.
