DESCRIPTION
By virtue of the two Chinese homophones xiàng (elephant) and xiáng (auspicious), the elephant is held in very high regard and seen as a symbol of luck throughout China. The vessel is thus magnificently adorned with two elephants, signifying the prosperity they represent.
